We Norwegians used their favorite yarn from Südwolle, the Nm 1/60, 100% super fine merino wool, 17,5 microns, and added some Creora-Eco-Soft, to make the fabric stretchy. It's a single jersey that's light and breathable. Feels like a second layer of skin. The zipped long sleeve for the girls, have a fitted shape with flatlock seams for more comfort, and the golden coil zipper with the ring puller adds some glam to this understated luxury piece. The zipper is 32 cm long, which means that you can open it quite a lot for ventilation during training.

We Norwegians have designed a line of chunky knits with their own version of the Setesdal pattern, knitted with a fantastic yarn from the Italian spinner Linsieme. This spinner is specialized in cashmere blends and we have fallen in love with this chunky, yet light yarn, made with fine merino wool and cashmere. We Norwegians have made this warm and comfortable sweater with a zipped neck opening. Wear it with jeans and ski pants a like. Perfect for aprés ski as well.

The 1977 sweater is an homage to the World Cup Competition in Voss, where ski legend Ingmar Stenmark won his first gold metal in Voss. He had participated previously, but this year he came in 1st! As many of you know, rivalry between Sweden and Norway goes a long way, but especially in sports, of course. We like to believe that it's a friendly sort of rivalry, between old friends, but it could be that some would disagree. We Norwegians on the other hand, love the ski style Ingmar was sporting at the time, and competition set aside, they would like to express their admiration and love for both Ingmar and the 70's ski fashion by dedicating this sweater to him!
